These rugged mesh bags are designed to hold pumps in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Used in skimmers or independently as a mechanical pre-filter in open pond applications.   Includes 2 zip ties to cinch the top closed.  

Install check valve in air line, out of the water, before the air line reaches the pump to minimize the chance of water siphoning into the air pump.
